Roadmap to the merger of the PC, TV and the Smartphone

1) Widespread adoption of the HDTV Digital Broadcasting format.

2) Reinventing the old TV Tuner card with Wireless Technologies for the new interactive TV format.
All the user need to do is to install the new TV Tuner card to access a wide range of interactive TV services and channels.

3) The next generation of broadband is fibre optics, however cable will still be available but at a cheaper price. Next generation of wireless technologies will meant u do not have to wired up your home for wireless access, all u need is a powerpoint. Powerline will merge with wireless to extend wireless coverage.

4) Bluetooth communication standards will link the PC to the TV and the Smartphone.

5) New wirelesss technologies in a new spectrum will replace radiowaves for broadcasting TV signals. With the new technologies, all u need to setup a basestation is a powerpoint.
